Notwithstanding a crossing may be over or under, above is an example of crossing over the River Barrow in County Wexford, leading to the busy port of New Ross, through an area of special environmental interest {Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge} as part of N25 New Ross Bypass. Opened in 2020.
